The business jet, part 135, operators can take advantage of the quick design, modification, and installation schedule for a mounted EFB, similar to a Class 2 installation. The business Jet operator can also take the more minimal path of using an un-mounted, Class 1 style, EFB to reduce install cost yet still provide the full functionality of an EFB.
