The SkyTab™ 3201 Electronic Flight Bag optimizes every flight by reducing pilot workload, simplifying flight operations, and providing greater situational awareness. The single-piece solution eliminates the need for additional interface components, decreasing the overall cost of installation and certification. The sealed, passively-cooled CPU reduces system failures inherent with fan-cooled units. Compliant with DO-160F requirements, the SkyTab™ 3201 is designed to handle advanced software applications and features user-customizable buttons, a reliable solid state drive, integrated ARINC 429 interfaces, and one of the most compact, lightweight form factors available in a Class 2 unit.
The high resolution, fully dimmable 8.4-inch display provides superior readability under any cockpit lighting conditions allowing effortless viewing of charts, documents, or weather data. Cockpit safety is enhanced through the use of NiMH batteries to eliminate the problems associated with Lithium power cells.
This product is intended to be mounted in the cockpit during use for hands free operation and serves as the logical first piece in the development of a full features EFB system for business jet operations.
